This is a small post (just a couple pics) from this weekend we went and cruised padre island and drove through mustang island state park.  I am definitely going back with my good camera and getting some more shots.....

I am trying to put up more stuff that i havent put up lately.....this post is pics from June when i went to crystal river fl with my dad it rained alot but i did get some cool pics of some of the wildlife hanging out there, more then that though it was nice to hang out with my pops :)

This guy was digging up worms in the rain.....

 This little squrriel was i think waiting for the rain to stop...lol

 It stopped raining for a little bit.....

 These cardinals got really close only like 3 ft away.....

 The resort we were at was crawling with these guys.....

 Went on a boat tour the one day it didnt rain went to see manatees but there was none saw these instead

Due to lack of going out and moving i haven't been posting on here lately.....we recently moved from VA back to my home state of Texas :) before we moved i did get to out in Va on one last exploration we went to what the locals call the "eastern shore" some wonderful old houses and a factory along with a few other things.......
Here's the first couple houses we came across....

Found this set of buildings next.....love the moonshine bottle in the window....lol

We also came across this old factory....which was really neat (i think maybe my favorite)...lol

next we cruised through cape Charles here's couple of things we saw there....

it was a good day out and about, i enjoyed it alot.  I am looking forward to get to go explore here at home.

Friday 02 March 2011, after not being out for awhile I wanted to go out......wasn't really sure where I wanted to go and I had to take my 4 yr old daughter with me so I knew it was going to be pretty mild, I did put batteries in my daughters "kids camera" I thought she might have fun if she could take pictures too....I went to NC (again) but I went to a different part alittle closer to my house then last time but I was not real familiar with where I was going....I did alot of driving and not a lot of "finding" (that happens alot) I took a wrong turn (looking at my gps) and looked up I found a building I liked and across the street from that was a cool building I know at one time it was occupied (not really confident that it still isn't) but I liked the look of it :) I even got a picture of my daughter taking a picture (she is taking a pic of the stairs not the building...lol)

all in all it was a fun time out, I just wish I could have found more things to see that day.....until the next adventure....happy shooting :)

Ok, so it has been awhile since I have posted anything....I have been kinda lazy about I admit...so this post is from a day out 30 Oct 2011 my husband was looking for some places to hunt in NC and I tagged along and took  my camera (you never know what you will find) and we happened to come across this house.....

I did get a few shots of the inside but due to not having changed the settings for the inside the pics did not come out well....there was also 2 other buildings on the property......

This third (little building) I did not get any closer too as you can see the tall grass and I have a fear of snakes/spiders so if I can not see where my feet are going then I am going that way....lol....anyways this was neat to see I wish I could have gotten some kind of background on the property to know what happened to it but there was no one around to ask and it has been by its self for awhile.....
Later on that same day we came across another place to stop.....

I did get a few shots of the inside (what there was of it anyways)........

I bet this house in its day was a beautiful house and I cant help but wonder what could have happened to it.....it was on a huge amount of property and set a good distance back from the road and the grounds have been kept up around the house so someone is sort of taking care of this property but we saw no one.....

I am closing this out and doing my next post from some stuff (very few) that I saw the other day :)
